Along with making sure that PS 6X is a joyful school to learn in, we will continue to focus on the safety of all of our students as a top priority – including academic, physical, social and emotional safety. Though three years have passed since the onset of this pandemic, we will continue to adhere to any new and/or updated health and wellness guidelines to keep our students and school community safe. Many of our updated safety structures and routines will continue as follows:
❖ Personal Protective Equipment & Safety Protocols - We must use every effort to prevent the spread of infection in our school if a student or staff member is feeling sick or has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or other communicable disease.
• Face Coverings: Wearing a face covering is at your discretion while in the school building. Some disposable masks will also be available at the school.
• Hand Washing: There will be increased access and regular opportunities for students to wash hands or use hand sanitizer throughout the day
